We got hit with a barrage of new arrivals today. Don’t mind that crater in the floor and the various body parts strewn about. We’ll clean this mess up as soon as we can. But seriously, we got a whole bunch of new stuff today, both in the newish releases and new trades. Check it out:
We got more copies of District 9, (500) Days Of Summer and Inglourious Basterds, plus our first batches of the family-friendly Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, another chapter of The Final Destination, high school horror flick Jennifer’s Body, producers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov(director of Night Watch, Day Watch and Wanted) deliver the animated post-apocalyptic 9, plus there’s last year’s runaway horror hit Paranormal Activity and the vacation thriller The Perfect Getaway (with two of my favorite actors: Timothy Olyphant and Steve Zahn!).
On the new trades front, we’ve got killer TV in the form of seasons 1 and 2 of Dexter and silly TV in Reno 911 and Pee-Wee’s Playhouse volume 2 (22 episodes – all of seasons 3, 4 and 5!). And that’s not all. There’s a ton of new movies, too, like The Simpsons Movie, Secret Window, Mission: Impossible and Mission: Impossible 2, Romeo Must Die, Titan A.E., Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, cult classic The Garbage Pail Kids, Road Trip, Disney’s Dinotopia and so so much more.
