Today in Ballard there is indie movie happenings afoot! Across the street from our little video store there are trucks and trailers containing the cast and crew of Fat Kid Rules the World a new movie marking the directorial debut of Matthew Lillard (of SLC Punk, Scooby-Doo and Scream fame).  The crew will be hanging about today and Thursday filming scenes at The Sunset Tavern and the BalMar. Always exciting to have Seattle featured in films!

Well a soggy Sunday hello, Moviecyclers!!

We have some news down here on Market street.  Our beloved co-worker, Gary, will be moving on to another job in a week or so (sad face) and we are very happy for him and wish him well!

So what does that mean for us? We have a new peep in the ‘hood!

Moviecycle would like to welcome our new co-worker, Maja, to our video store and hope all our loyal customers will be patient as she learns the ropes.

Come on down to greet our new face and see what’s new on the shelves! As always, The Wall O’ Cool (our space that features recent trade-ins and all titles we deem cool)  is ever changing and the Green Dot titles ($3.99) are plentiful!!
