We Buy!

That’s right, we pay cash for your good condition unwanted movies and video games, or you may opt to take store credit and trade in your old stuff for something new or new-to-you. You get a better return with store credit, as the cash price is around 25% lower, but the choice is yours.

Maybe your kids have outgrown all the Blues Clues and Bob The Builder or you can’t possibly watch another Scooby-Doo DVD without screaming. Perhaps you thought you’d never grow tired of Will Ferrell, so you bought Semi-Pro as soon as it came out, thinking you’d wear it out while laughing yourself silly. And now, there it sits on the shelf, dustier than Oklahoma in the 1930s. Maybe your PS2 finally bit the dust and it’s time to offload all those games.

Whatever the reason, you’ve decided it’s time to clear out some (or all) of your movie and/or game collection. Well, that’s what we’re here for: We actually want that stuff. One man’s junk and all that…

We can’t do phone quotes, you need to bring your stuff into the store. Generally speaking we pay around a dollar or two per movie, depending on what it is. Unfortunately, there are some titles (I’m looking at you, Austin Powers) that we might pay less for, simply because we are overstocked on them. The flip side is we will pay more for the very popular titles that we can’t seem to keep on the shelves. Another man’s treasure, if you will…

For games, we have software that generates the purchase price, so you may get as little as a few pennies for some games and as much as $30 for newer, high-demand games. As with movies, the cash price will be lower than the store credit price, but it’s entirely up to you.

We buy VHS, too! We pay a flat rate of ten cents per VHS tape (no home recordings, please).

We look forward to pawing through your unwanted movies and games, so don’t delay, see us today! We don’t have “buying hours” at Moviecycle, you can just come on in and let us give you a quote. Please note, if you have a lot of stuff (like, a lot: more than 100 items) you might want to plan to do some shopping or go get a coffee while we work up a quote for you.

See our contact page if you help finding us.
